“James Vickers catered for our wedding of 200 people, which was conducted in a marquee at our farm - not an easy task as James did not have access to a kitchen and had to set up everything needed for cooking the food on the farm.
James did an exceptional job of catering for our wedding, and I think it was more amazing was that he created the delicious food for 200 people from a temporary kitchen. The food was delicious, particularly the finger food! The main course was interesting, modern and also delicious. The staff were very professional and efficient. James’ service was always accommodating and sincere. He is obviously a man who is passionate about creating great food, who ensures excellent service.

We truly appreciated all your assistance and professionalism both leading up to and on the day/night and we cannot thank you enough for making it what it was.
The catering for our wedding was (after my husband of course), what I was most excited about and looking forward to, and as I mentioned to you I spent much time leading up to the day drooling over our chosen menu. It did not disappoint.
The feedback I got from my guests was all very good. Your staff show maturity and professionalism beyond their years and they are an absolute credit to you. Having worked in hospitality for many years (and in the wedding industry), I can appreciate how aggravating and downright rude and demanding many guests can be. If there was any, I truly apologise, though the girls took it all in their stride.
The canapés were to die for! Most complements were for the seared scallops with chorizo (yum!). Whilst my new husband had little to do with the selection of the menu he also loved the mains, particularly the harissa chicken. Our vegetarian friends also felt they were well catered for.
The only constructive criticism I received was from a Chef and his wife; they would have liked the oysters cooler and the mains to come out closer together i.e. they felt the potatoes were an afterthought due to the delay. Having said this however, these two are veterans in the field so you have done VERY well to impress them with everything else as well as dealing with the hurdles of catering in a paddock.
I think most importantly, no one went hungry and the food and service we did receive was of high quality and very affordable! I was also personally, very impressed with the option of a cheese platter at the end, it was something I would not have considered myself but was a perfect touch!
